What are Periods?

Periods is also known as menstruation. Menstruation is a part of menstrual cycle of females in which females of reproducible age group ( 13 to 50 years) falls. During this these females lose out blood along with mucus from their vagina.

What’s the reason behind that blood and mucus?

Scientifically it’s a lengthy process to explain but we can understand it as, monthly inner lining of uterus of females sheds out due to hormonal changes in body.

Inner lining of uterus is rich in blood vessels and that’s why blood comes out along with mucus when it sheds.

What’s Menarche and Menopause?

Menarche refers to the start of periods or menstrual cycle while Menopause refers to the pause of menstrual cycle.

Age from 13 to 50 is tentative or strict?

Menarche generally starts in teenage but it is tentative, it can vary differently for different heads, Generally menarche is seen in girls falling under the age of 9 to 15 years.

Menopause generally occurs to females falling under the age of 45 to 50, that refers to the stoppage of menstrual cycle.

Is Menstruation good or bad?

Menstruation is an indication that the female is still producing eggs, it can’t be classified as good or bad. It depends on individuals.
